About Our Hemp
Our parent company developed unique hemp cultivars that are grown for their naturally elevated cannabidiol (CBD) content. Our special high-CBD hemp cultivars are sustainably grown and harvested in select microclimates on generational farms in hemp-friendly countries.
Once harvested, this hemp is carefully processed and undergoes high-tech quality testing. The resulting standardized, premium quality CBD hemp oil is infused into every product we represent.
Is CBD the next Super Food?
Hemp is enjoying a 21st century renaissance. It is being rediscovered as a useful commodity and as a superior superfood. Both hemp and natural cannabinoids are making news headlines nationwide every day, but what is CBD hemp oil and is it right for you?
If this is the first time you’re hearing about industrial hemp-based cannabidiol (CBD) oil products, there’s a reason for that. Because no health claims or references to peer-reviewed studies can be made in the U.S. (due to federal regulations), there is a misconception that industrial hemp is the same as marijuana. It’s not, and word is just getting out.
People have used hemp, or industrial hemp, for thousands of years to make oils, fabric, rope and even food. And they’ve used marijuana for other purposes. The two are very different.
Hemp and marijuana are to cannabis as oranges and lemons are to citrus. Marijuana is grown for elevated levels of THC (the psychoactive part of cannabis), and ^CBD levels must be kept low. Hemp, on the other hand, is just the opposite. It has an abundance of ^CBD (which is not psychoactive like THC) and THC is almost non-existent.
The hemp oil that is produced by our special cultivars of industrial hemp is different than the hemp seed oil you find in grocery stores nationwide. We have found a way to grow hemp that makes a super hemp oil with much greater natural ^CBD content than grocery store varieties. We call this natural CBD hemp oil.
While natural CBD hemp oil may be a controversial superfood to some, we believe that the world is waking up to its many benefits. Scientists, doctors, and the general public are asking for more information about this natural constituent of the hemp plant — and we encourage you to conduct your own research, too.
The more you learn about ^CBD, the more you will understand why many consider it the biggest super compound of the 21st Centu
From Plant to Oil – Our Process.
Hemp is one of the most versatile plants on the planet. The industrial and commercial use has been essential throughout human history, and continues despite strict regulations governing its cultivation today.
Look around you. Hemp can be made into almost anything you see: paper, fabric, fiber, plastics and more. Carbon negative buildings can be made from hemp concrete and hemp particle boards. Hemp can even be used for biofuel and animal feed, with the potential to rapidly change our environment and our economy for the better.
Hemp (which is of the Cannabis genus) is colloquially called weed; this is because hemp grows in almost every climate, without need of any human intervention. Its tall, dense agricultural footprint makes hemp naturally resistant to invasive overgrowth, and its hardy nature enables farmers worldwide to grow the crop without the use of chemical fertilizers and pesticides. There is no need to genetically modify this robust plant, just as there would be no need to genetically modify a dandelion to assure its continued growth.
